Questions about membership

  • How do I become a member?

    It's very easy. Simply fill in your details on our sign-up page. We'll send you a link to the application form so you are able to confirm your membership. Please note that you must be a member of the Flying Blue loyalty programme. To join the scheme, please visit www.flyingblue.com.

  • Can I join the panel if I live outside the UK?

    No, unfortunately this online panel is open only to residents of the UK.

  • How can my family and friends join Opinion Rewards Club?

    We always welcome new panel members! Your family and friends can simply visit our website and register. Please note that there can only be 2 members per household and each member needs a separate email address and Flying Blue number in order to join.  All registrations are also subject to our vigorous data quality controls. Please note they must be a member of the Flying Blue loyalty programme in order to join the panel, so if they are not already a member please visit www.flyingblue.com before signing up to the panel.

  • How do I access the member's area?

    To access the members' area, log into your account by entering your e-mail address and password in the member login area. Please note to join Opinion Rewards Club you need to be a member of the Flying Blue loyalty programme. To join the scheme, please visit www.flyingblue.com.

  • What is my Flying Blue number?

    This is your 10-digit Flying Blue card number, where all your Miles transactions are managed.  If you are not already a member please visit www.flyingblue.com in order to join the scheme.

  • Why do I need to give you my Flying Blue number when I join?

    As a member of the panel you will be rewarded with Miles. In order for your Miles to appear on your Flying Blue account, we ask you to register your Flying Blue number during the joining phase so that your details can be verified.

Questions about Surveys

  • Why are surveys conducted?

    Surveys are conducted because businesses, governments, public bodies, and similar organisations are interested in the views and attitudes of the people who use their products and services. The more they know about what customers and citizens think, the easier it is for them to improve and adapt what they supply.

  • How often will I be asked to take surveys?

    We send out survey invitations on a regular basis, but cannot say who or when you might receive invitations. This is because each survey is customised and based around the research goals for each individual client. Depending on your Account, we may ask you to complete surveys more or less often. For this reason, we ask you to keep your Account as up to date as possible. Please note some firewalls may prevent delivery of our survey invitations.

  • Can you mail the surveys to me or conduct them over the phone?

    Unfortunately there is no other way to take part in these online surveys, you need to complete them over the Internet.

  • How long does an average survey take to complete?

    The number of questions varies from one survey to another. We try to keep surveys as short as possible, although we have to make sure the results are meaningful. In general a survey should take around 10 to 15 minutes to complete.

Questions about Privacy

  • If I join Opinion Rewards Club, will I receive e-mails advertising other products and services?

    No. We don't sell the personal information of our panellists and we'll never try to sell you a product or service.

  • Who can I talk to if I have any privacy concerns?

    Contact information is provided in our Privacy Policy, which is linked from the bottom of the pages on the Opinion Rewards Club website.

  • Why does Opinion Rewards Club need my personal information?

    Generally, personal information is used: (i) to communicate with you regarding Opinion Rewards Club membership and survey participation; (ii) to tailor survey opportunities to you; (iii) to comply with legal obligation, including, without limitation, complying with taxation requirements.

  • Why did I get an e-mail with a link to join Opinion Rewards Club if I didn't apply myself?

    It is possible that someone made a typing error and accidentally submitted your e-mail address while asking to join Opinion Rewards Club. It's also possible that someone has used your e-mail address without your permission. If you don't want to join, simply ignore the e-mail and the reminder that will be sent. Your details won't be included on our records and you'll not be contacted again.

  • What Rewards do you offer?

    You can earn Miles for every survey you complete. The more surveys you complete the more Miles you earn! You can spend your Miles on the many offers Flying Blue has available for you!
